Pressure Equipment In-Service Inspection

You must have a competent person (inspector) regularly inspect pressure equipment to ensure it is safe to operate. Each owner is responsible for ensuring that the extent and frequency of inspection is appropriate and adequate for the continued safe and economic operation of the pressure equipment. 

In SA, all Pressure Equipment Hazard Level of either A, B or C requires registration before it can be operated for normal use.
